the Arizona desert, with giant Saguaro cactus, which is
the state flower of Arizona. This is a HUGE and
interesting plant. The Saguaro cactus can grow 15 to 50
feet in height, but amazingly these magnificent plants
have only a 3 foot deep root system!

worthy claim!
Having visited the Grand Canyon in 2010, we highly
recommend it as a "must see". We hiked down the trail
along the canyon
wall, to
the bottom, which is a 4.5 mile hike into 120 degree heat.
