On the back of the map are boards which push the map off the wall about 1/2 inch. The result is a truly 3 dimensional piece which matches any type of wall texture or color. This artwork is a large map of the United States made with real license plates. It measures 58" x 38" and weighs about 46 lbs. Each state is represented by a genuine license plate which is cut into the shape of its state. The picture shows an example of Aaron Foster's map artwork. Your map will have different license plates.
