Bonnie has a new modern twist on art…

 Her work is about creating art from license plates. Most might think of a license plate as just a piece of metal but it is so much more –it is the thumbprint of the automobile, it is Americana – each one is unique. 

Bonnie Schwartz began creating license plate art several years ago, when she went to clean out the garage and found her husband’s old license plate collection.  Of course, she wanted to "throw them away" and of course, he refused.  She begged him,  “at least let me do something with them”. After much debate, he finally agreed and Bonnie's metallic art was created.

Each picture has its own history, and tells its own story;

whether it be a character from a comic book, a car, a
baseball player or a pretty flower.

It’s the perfect art to enhance any room; including your child’s room, a play room, garage, family room or office.

Bonnie's art has a lot of creativity, playfulness and a whole lot of soul.
